2024 Florida Chapter Summer Event

The host hotel will be the Hilton Rialto. This is where Operations Judging will take place (in the main parking lot) on Friday. Use this link to book your room at the host hotel: Melbourne Hilton Rialto for $139 per night (code:90W).

June 14th: Operations (OPS) at the Hilton Rialto

June 15th: Flight Judging at the American Muscle Car Museum (AMCM)
3500 Sarno Rd, Melbourne, FL 32901 (inside the spectacular Maintenance Blg.)

We will be featuring Flight and Concours Judging as well as displaying Bowtie and Challenge cars. In order to provide quality judging, we reserve the right to limit the number of cars judged, based on the number of judges attending. Judges, please register as soon as possible. In order for your registration to be considered eligible for approval, all information should be included in your registration and valid through the date of the event. Please note this applies to all cars including Sportsman and Displayed cars. In the event that your car insurance or car registration expires prior to the event, you still need to send it in so you can be tentatively approved but you must provide the updated document to Lynne Nimocks before the event. Online registration is preferred.

Friday Schedule – 6/24/24: Operations portion of judging at the HILTON RIALTO HOTEL

12:00 -5:00 pm: Event Registration/Membership/Merchandise Tables Open and outside in the parking lot
12:00- 5:00 pm: Operations (OPS) on all judged cars in Rialto’s designated parking lot. (follow signs)
1:00 pm: Lunch for all registered participants
5:00 pm: Registration and Operations close
5:00 pm: Meet in the Bar area to socialize with other NCRS members, (Cash Bar)
5:30 pm: A reserved table for dinner is available at the hotel restaurant (The Rustic), dinner is at your expense. Please indicate number attending in your party, on your registration. We hope to see you.
7:00: Membership Meeting with future event updates
7:15 -8:15: pm Judging School

Friday: Judged cars/trailers park in the designated parking, (Judging Field), when you arrive. It will be marked. Proceed to the NCRS registration table and check in before unloading your car. Please present a copy of your Current Car Insurance, and Registration or Title, and pick up your judging packet at the Registration desk. Sign the Green Sheet from the envelope and let the Judging Chairman know you have arrived and have not unloaded or started your car before the “Cold Start” requirement for Operations. After OPS is completed you may load your car or leave it out. You may want to use a car cover overnight. Bringing a chair is recommended.

Saturday Schedule – 6/25/24: Flight & Concours Judging at the AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR MUSEUM (AMCM)

7:00 am: AMCM Gate opens for trailer parking and car staging outside the Maintenance bldg. (follow signs)
7:00 am: Registration opens with coffee and pastries for all registered participants
7:30-8:00 am: Cars will be moved into the Maintenance Building under the direction of the Staging Crew
8:00 am: Judges’/OJ meeting
8:15 am: Owners’ meeting
8:30 am: Judging begins
12:00 pm: Lunch provided for all registered participants
1:00 pm: Judging resumes.
3:00 approx. Awards will be presented after the Judging has been completed. All cars will be dismissed after the Awards Presentation.

Saturday: Proceed along the road to the Maintenance Building doors (Judging Field) beginning at 7:00 am. Park outside the doors, in a line, until the Staging Crew is available to guide you to your assigned location. Once inside the Maintenance Building, batteries should be disconnected in an approved manner (Kill Switch).  Prepare your car for judging, which includes placing your fender covers and displaying your fire extinguisher per NCRS guidelines. You receive 10 bonus points for having all 3: a kill switch, fire extinguisher and decal. Decals are for sale for $2.00 at Registration table.

We judged: ’56, ’58, ’62, ’65, ’67-BB. ’67-L79, ’70, ’78 (Pace Car), ’92, ’95 (Pace Car), and one ’68 for Concours Judging.
